Leadership and learning center

The Leadership and Learning Center is a 30,000 square foot, two story building at Girl Scouts of Central Indiana's Camp Dellwood on the west side of Indianapolis. The $7 million facility provides opportunities for volunteers to come together to build the next generation of women leaders as well as providing office space for staff and for their retail store.

The back wall of the retail store was blank, providing an opportunity to incorporate elements reflecting the Girl Scout brand's most iconic symbol: the Trefoil. Using pattern, the graphic for the accent was designed to be subtle and harmonize with its surroundings.

The wall behind the front desk provided an opportunity to incorporate color and photography. Creating to 24" x 36" photo photographic canvases, color and energy now fills the once blank wall.

Leave no trace, not just on our trails, but in also in the building. With many guests visiting the building after an afternoon on the trail, it was imperative to have large door mats to trap debris at the front doors. This was an opportunity to also incorporate our mark in a subtle way, too.
